Our Focus

01 — Focus & Vision

RIGHTOFWAY highlights street redesigns that go beyond function — projects that elevate public space, foster urban livability, and enhance community life.

Architecture and interior design are celebrated across countless magazines and channels. Urban design — despite shaping daily life more than either — has never had a platform that treats it with the same artistry.

Each episode explores one project through three lenses:

  • Geometry — how corner radii, lane widths, and intersections change behavior
  • Materials — how paving, texture, and surface organize movement
  • Furniture & objects — the trees, seating, and details that shape character
Avenida 9 de Julio — Buenos Aires, Argentina
The project is the protagonist — told with cinematic clarity, one street at a time.

Workflow

02 — From first call to publish
01

Identify the project

We identify a redesigned street and the designers behind it, and reach out directly.

02

Introductory call

A short virtual meeting between the designers and the RIGHTOFWAY team to align on the project's story.

03

Script & questions

We send interview questions; designers prepare and submit responses, which we refine into a video script.

04

Film on site

A professional crew travels to the project location or your studio — typically half a day to a full day. You never have to travel.

05

Edit & publish

We edit the film and publish it on YouTube, then share it across our network — and yours.

Audience

03 — Who's watching
General Public

People who love good design

Viewers who appreciate thoughtful design and want to understand how cities evolve around them.

Design Professionals

Urban designers & planners

Landscape architects, urban designers, planners, and architects who want to share their work, gain exposure, and learn from peers.

Value for Designers

04 — Why participate

Public exposure to a global audience through high-quality, professionally produced content — a chance to showcase your work, your process, and your firm in a cinematic, shareable format.

You'll never be expected to travel — our crew comes to you and your project. Footage and creative rights are co-owned, and you're free to share the finished film across your own platforms.

Filming is scripted, cinematic, and brief on camera: most of your presence comes through voiceover, with guidance on tone and pacing throughout.
